Terms of Service

Welcome to ReminderPro, operated by Gabriel Dohotaru, Ploiești, Romania (legal entity registration in progress). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReminderPro application and website at reminderpro.app ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

To use ReminderPro, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ReminderPro only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Service for spam, harassment, or any illegal activity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our permission

3. Subscription and Billing

Free Plan

The Free plan provides limited features at no cost. We reserve the right to modify the features included in the Free plan at any time.

Paid Plans

Paid plans (Personal, Family, Business) are billed monthly or annually. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your paid features will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

4. Intellectual Property

The ReminderPro name, logo, website design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of ReminderPro. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service (reminders, notes, uploaded documents). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5. Notification Delivery

While we strive to deliver all notifications on time, we cannot guarantee 100% delivery reliability. Notification delivery depends on third-party services (email providers, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS gateways) and factors outside our control (network connectivity, device settings, carrier restrictions). ReminderPro is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice. Do not rely solely on ReminderPro for time-critical or life-critical reminders.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REMINDERPRO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MISSED REMINDERS, DATA LOSS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, use the Service for illegal purposes, or engage in behavior that harms other users or our infrastructure.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ploiești, Prahova County, Romania.
